Drink a beer, save a tree

Redhook is filing this one under “best holiday ideas, ever.”

Created using 1,050 empty bottles and standing over six feet tall, the “beer tree” doesn’t need any water. All it requires is a few dedicated drinkers and the willpower to finish around 44 cases of beer. (Redhook suggests asking friends or family for help before trying to finish this much beer solo).

If you don’t yet have your tree this year, or you’re living in a part of the world where fresh-cut douglas fir isn’t available, a beer tree can be a nice alternative. Yours doesn’t have to be six feet tall. It’s easy to make a smaller one if you like.

And just like a real tree, a beer tree is 100% recyclable.

Happy Holidays.

I’m seeking help for the kids of Haiti.

I’m at this site for a non-profit organization that devotes themselves to
building oppurtunities for the children in haiti. If anybody wants to help then do so here:

Donate to Haiti or Help Haiti

They provide kids in Haiti a positive outlook through education.

And yes, they’re a real cause.

It would be great if you could help
