Gold at GABF 2009

It was an unforgettable weekend for Redhook at the 2009 Great American Beer Fest.

Well, maybe not everyone remembers all of what happened. But in the end, Redhook ended up taking home Gold, Siver and Bronze in this year’s tasting. And there was plenty of competition: over 3000 beers from nearly 500 breweries competed in the tasting. Not to mention some 49,000 thirsty beer drinkers, many of whom stopped by our booth.

Redhook’s 2009 Medalists

  • Gold: Extra Strong Bitter Ale category – Redhook ESB
  • Silver: Barley Wine Style Ale category – Redhook Treblehook
  • Bronze: South German Style Hefeweizen category – Redhook Weizen

    My Dad and I have been enjoying Redhook ESB and IPA for over 10 years. We will call each other just to find out who has it on sale. We love it and we really cannot drink anything else because we are so spoiled by Redhook Beers. I try to have my friend try it but the are unwilling to get away for American lagers. Shame more for us. Keep up the good work.
