The 12th man lives! If you haven’t heard the news, you’ve either been out of the country or just woken up from a coma. Regardless of your situation, Redhook wants to welcome you back and rehash/rub in the biggest upset in playoff history.
The Seahawks’ Saturday victory over the 2010 Super Bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, confirmed their place as a worthy contender in the playoffs despite the overwhelming majority of non-believers. Redhook’s favorite moment of the game? How ’bout Marshawn Lynch’s 67 yard rush? Not to mention, the running back’s BEAST MODE stiff-arm that knocked Saints’ Tracy Porter back to 2010.
Now Redhook’s no scientist, but one thing he knows for sure is that Seahawks fans are loud– loud enough to cause a small earthquake.
It’s that kind of energy that can inspire our team to defeat the Chicago Bears in their hometown this Sunday, January 16. We beat the Bears back in Week 6 and we can beat them again. Besides, it’s common knowledge that Hawks are stronger, swifter, and more cunning than Bears.
Come Sunday, Redhook will be rising earlier than usual for some good, old-fashioned pre-gaming with friends at the Forecaster’s Pub at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinville. The doors open at 9:30 for Seahawks fans and, yes, Bears fans too. There’ll be $3 pints and breakfast specials during the game. Should be a great time.
What’s better than one upset? Two upsets. Redhook plans to be there the whole way. Go Hawks!
